Alright, this has nothing to do with the rock band; "P.O.D." in here stands for "Planetary Orbital Defense". It's a "re-interpretation of the arcade classics Space Invaders and Missile Command, with some new gameplay elements," per the author's own words.
Defender of Earth Badge (hard – 30 points)
Defeat the final mothership.
Though if you ask my opinions, I'd say the gameplay leans more toward Missile Command, for once inside it, you will find out very soon enough that most of the times, your targeting priority will go to the falling bombs before everything else.
Well actually, it's not as hard as the badge's trying to suggest; I beat the game in one try without ever pressing the D key, so you shouldn't be having any problems either. If you do, however, go watching this YouTube walkthrough; it basically has this whole game explained.
Two more extra tips for you. One, I personally found the following strategy being very useful when you are controlling two tanks, if your keyboard can bear with it:
Creating a crossfire by repetitively beating your A key in a certain tempo; since the enemies are slow, the slightly wider gaps between the shots in each direction will actually have literally no negative effect to you. Two, heed the hint appearing inside the YouTube walkthrough around 02:30 ~ 03:00.
Rating
Surprised? Me too. But from the designing aspect, it's a lot better than all the shits I have rated so far.
